About The Role
We're seeking a Multi-Domain Mission Capabilities Lead to own the full-stack decentralized infrastructure that powers coordinated operations across distributed networks, sovereign cloud environments, and edge compute nodes. This isn't a role for someone who thinks about distributed ledger systems occasionally — it's for a builder who lives at the intersection of network architecture, smart contracts, edge compute, and resilient deployment under real-world constraints. You'll define the reference architecture, build it, deploy it to live environments, and hand back a repeatable playbook that scales far beyond a single proof-of-concept.
What You'll Be Doing
- •Architect the full-stack reference design for deployable decentralized infrastructure spanning network transport, edge compute, data services, and permissioning/classification boundaries
- •Own the integration model across platforms — how nodes discover each other, how data and transactions flow across domains, and how the system degrades gracefully when connectivity or nodes are lost
- •Design smart contract-driven coordination logic that enables autonomous systems to reach consensus and execute actions without persistent centralized connectivity
- •Build and validate infrastructure under real operational conditions, not theoretical environments, proving resilience in bandwidth-constrained, high-latency, or denied-network scenarios
- •Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, security, and operations teams to ensure the distributed systems stack deploys as a coherent, repeatable capability
- •Define edge-to-cloud data fusion strategies so mission-critical insights are processed and actioned at the point of need, not just centrally
What We're Looking For
- •Proven experience architecting large-scale distributed systems, ideally including blockchain, DeFi, or decentralized network infrastructure
- •Strong background in network engineering, systems engineering, or edge compute architecture
- •Hands-on experience with smart contracts, consensus mechanisms, or decentralized data services
- •Demonstrated ability to take infrastructure from whiteboard to field-proven deployment
- •Comfort operating in ambiguous, high-stakes environments where infrastructure must work without guarantees
- •Excellent cross-functional collaboration skills across engineering, security, and operational stakeholders
Bonus Points
- •Experience with multi-jurisdictional or multinational crypto/web3 deployments
- •Familiarity with classified or highly secure network environments
- •Background in expeditionary or forward-deployed infrastructure design
