About This Role
This is a rare opportunity to define the visual and experiential language of an entirely new category: tokenized domains meeting DeFi infrastructure. You'll work at the intersection of distributed ledger technology, user experience, and real-world asset ownership, translating complex blockchain mechanics into interfaces that feel intuitive, trustworthy, and even delightful. Your work will directly influence how both crypto-native users and everyday domain owners engage with decentralized finance tools.
What You'll Be Doing
Design end-to-end product experiences across D3's web3 platform and D3 Edge, from wireframes to polished, production-ready UI
Translate complex smart contract flows and onchain asset management into clear, approachable user journeys
Collaborate closely with engineers, product managers, and protocol architects to ship features that bridge DeFi and domain infrastructure
Create and maintain a scalable design system that supports rapid iteration across multiple crypto-facing products
Conduct user research and usability testing to continuously refine flows for both web3-native and mainstream audiences
Champion design quality and consistency across every touchpoint of the D3 ecosystem
What We're Looking For
3+ years of product design experience, ideally with exposure to blockchain, fintech, or other technically complex domains
A strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end ownership of shipped digital products
Fluency in modern design tooling (Figma or equivalent) and collaborative workflows with engineering teams
Ability to simplify intricate decentralized systems into clean, human-centered interfaces
Excellent communication skills and comfort working cross-functionally in a fast-moving startup environment
Genuine curiosity about crypto, tokenization, and the future of distributed digital infrastructure
Bonus Points
Prior experience designing for DeFi protocols, wallets, or onchain marketplaces
Familiarity with domain name systems (DNS) or real-world asset tokenization
Understanding of smart contract interactions from a UX perspective
Experience building design systems for rapidly scaling crypto startups
