What You'll Be Doing
Investigate and trace cryptocurrency transactions across public and private blockchains to uncover fraud, money laundering, or illicit activity
Analyze smart contracts and decentralized finance (DeFi) protocols to identify vulnerabilities, exploits, or suspicious activity patterns
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to build forensic narratives supporting litigation, regulatory inquiries, and internal investigations
Leverage blockchain analytics platforms and emerging web3 tools to track digital asset movement across exchanges and wallets
Translate complex technical findings into clear, client-ready reports and presentations
Stay current on evolving crypto regulations, distributed ledger innovations, and emerging threat vectors in the decentralized ecosystem
What We're Looking For
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related discipline
Foundational understanding of blockchain architecture, cryptocurrency ecosystems, and smart contract functionality
Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills with meticulous attention to detail
Excellent written and verbal communication abilities for translating technical findings to non-technical stakeholders
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, client-facing consulting environment
Willingness to travel as project needs require
Bonus Points
Experience with blockchain analytics tools such as Chainalysis, Elliptic, or TRM Labs
Familiarity with DeFi protocols, NFT marketplaces, or cross-chain bridge mechanics
Prior exposure to cyber forensics, AML investigations, or regulatory compliance work
Relevant certifications (CFE, CAMS, CCFE, or blockchain-specific credentials)
