What You'll Be Doing
Conduct basic research to identify market-moving news signals through observation and querying of news and market data
Perform historical analysis to catalog, study, and model the market impact of past news signals
Maintain a calendar of important scheduled events and monitor them live
Monitor newsfeeds in real time and alert traders and researchers to time-sensitive updates
Manage automated news alerts, including backtesting, stress-testing, and deploying high-precision/recall alerts for themes of interest, and updating them as market conditions change
Build market competence by internalizing context and pricing for liquid crypto assets
What We're Looking For
A degree in a related field (finance, engineering, math, or social science with a concentration in economics/finance), or demonstrable fluency in these areas
Experience using news platforms such as X Pro, Bloomberg Terminal, or Discord/Telegram chats
Serious ambition to compete in a high-stakes, ultra-competitive environment
