    Position Summary

We're looking for a Senior Accountant or Accounting Manager to own the monthly close process for our U.S. entity, reporting to the Controller. This role is central to keeping our books accurate and our close cycle running smoothly. You'll take the lead on full-cycle close, reconciliations, and reporting, bringing structure, precision, and consistency to our accounting operations. You'll work closely with the Controller and cross-functionally across the business, with plenty of exposure to how a fast-growing, multi-entity company runs. This is a great fit for someone who enjoys owning a process end-to-end, and is comfortable in a lean, fast-paced environment where priorities shift.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Own the monthly close end-to-end, including journal entries, reconciliation, accruals, fixed assets, prepaids, and revenue reporting
    • Manage the full AR and AP cycle, including customer invoicing, billable expense tracking, and vendor invoice intake, keeping aging schedules current and accurate
    • Reconcile intercompany accounts and prepare the intercompany trial balance translation
    • Perform bank and cash reconciliations; support with cash flow budgeting on a weekly and monthly basis
    • Assist with executing and tracking outgoing payments, including digital asset transactions on the blockchain
    • Administer our expense platform; reviewing and approving company expenses, travel, and card activity
    • Maintain vendor records, retain contracts, and collect W9s to keep vendor files audit ready
    • Support external audit requests and provide supporting schedules and documentation as needed
    • Identify opportunities to streamline and improve close processes, controls, and reporting
    • Additional ad-hoc accounting projects and analysis as priorities evolve

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
    • 2-5+ years of accounting experience, ideally including full-cycle monthly close
    • Strong working knowledge of U.S. GAAP
    • Proficiency with QuickBooks (or comparable ERP) and strong Excel/spreadsheet skills
    • Experience with expense management platforms a plus
    • Comfortable working with intercompany and multi-entity structures
    • High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and comfort operating with defined review checkpoints rather than full autonomy
    • Clear written communication skills
