Senior Analyst - Digital Assets Security
About This Role
This is a rare opportunity to sit at the intersection of traditional finance and cutting-edge distributed systems. You'll serve as the go-to security expert for blockchain and web3 initiatives, helping shape how a major financial institution safely embraces decentralized technologies, tokenized assets, and DeFi-adjacent innovations. What You'll Be Doing
Lead security assessments of blockchain platforms, tokenization engines, and smart contract codebases before production deployment
Partner closely with engineering teams to embed security-by-design principles into decentralized applications and digital asset workflows
Evaluate custody solutions, wallet infrastructure, and key management systems for cryptographic resilience
Conduct threat modeling specific to distributed ledger architectures, consensus mechanisms, and on-chain/off-chain integrations
Develop security standards and governance frameworks tailored to blockchain and crypto asset initiatives
Stay ahead of emerging attack vectors across DeFi protocols, bridges, and smart contract exploits to inform enterprise risk posture
What We're Looking For
Proven experience in information security, with direct exposure to blockchain, crypto, or distributed ledger technologies
Strong understanding of smart contract vulnerabilities, common exploit patterns, and secure coding practices
Familiarity with digital asset custody models, wallet security, and cryptographic key management
Ability to translate complex technical risks into actionable guidance for engineering and business stakeholders
Excellent communication skills and comfort operating as a trusted advisor across technical and non-technical teams
Analytical mindset with a passion for staying current on the fast-evolving web3 security landscape
Bonus Points
Hands-on experience auditing smart contracts on Ethereum, Solana, or other major blockchain networks
Familiarity with DeFi protocol mechanics, cross-chain bridges, and tokenization frameworks
Relevant certifications in blockchain security, penetration testing, or cryptography
Prior experience within a regulated financial services or fintech environment
