Senior Data Scientist, Risk and Support
About This Role
Our Risk and Support Data Science team sits at the intersection of analytics, automation, and financial inclusion — building the measurement backbone for products that millions depend on daily. This is an agentic data science role: you'll leverage AI tools and agent-driven workflows to accelerate the full analytics lifecycle, from exploring raw datasets to stress-testing hypotheses and shipping decisions. What You'll Be Doing
Convert sprawling product, customer, and risk datasets into clear decision frameworks and durable measurement systems
Deploy AI-assisted and agentic workflows to speed up exploration, automate repetitive analysis, and sharpen hypothesis testing
Own full-cycle data science work — experimentation, forecasting, visualization, and decision support — end to end
Build and maintain measurement frameworks for contact forecasting, staffing models, and operational queue health
Partner with risk teams to evaluate policy and model performance, flag drift or bias, and tie decisions to business impact
Design experiments and rollouts that influence customer access, repayment outcomes, and smart product growth
Mentor junior data scientists while setting technical standards and reusable frameworks across the broader team
What We're Looking For
A bachelor's degree in a quantitative field (statistics, economics, computer science) plus 12+ years of relevant experience, or a graduate degree with 6-8+ years
Advanced SQL skills and a track record of building compelling, decision-driving visualizations
Sharp statistical judgment and the ability to translate ambiguous business questions into rigorous analytical frameworks
Experience partnering cross-functionally with product, engineering, and risk stakeholders in fast-moving environments
Strong communication skills — able to distill complex findings for both technical teams and senior leadership
Comfort operating in high-ambiguity, high-stakes decentralized financial ecosystems
Bonus Points
Familiarity with blockchain, crypto, or decentralized finance (DeFi) risk and fraud patterns
Experience with smart contracts, distributed ledger systems, or web3-native data pipelines
Background in building automated, AI-augmented analytics tooling at scale
