About This Role
As a core contributor to our Dev Services team, you'll design and maintain the internal platforms, APIs, and tooling that empower engineers across Chainlink to ship reliable smart contracts and distributed systems faster. This is a rare opportunity to shape the developer experience behind the infrastructure securing tens of trillions of dollars in onchain transaction value across DeFi, payments, and tokenized markets.
What You'll Be Doing
Architect and build scalable developer services and internal tooling that accelerate smart contract and blockchain application delivery
Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to improve CI/CD pipelines, observability, and developer workflows
Design robust APIs and backend systems supporting Chainlink's decentralized oracle networks
Drive technical decisions around infrastructure reliability, security, and performance at scale
Mentor engineers and champion best practices across distributed, crypto-native systems
Partner with product and platform teams to translate developer pain points into impactful solutions
What We're Looking For
5+ years of professional software engineering experience, ideally with backend or platform engineering focus
Strong proficiency in Go, TypeScript, or similar languages used in blockchain and web3 environments
Solid understanding of distributed systems, APIs, and cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, or similar)
Experience building developer tooling, internal platforms, or SDKs at scale
Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset within cross-functional teams
Passion for blockchain, crypto, and the future of decentralized infrastructure
Bonus Points
Hands-on experience with smart contracts, Solidity, or oracle networks
Familiarity with Chainlink, DeFi protocols, or decentralized ledger technologies
Background in Kubernetes, Terraform, or infrastructure-as-code tooling
Contributions to open-source blockchain or developer tooling projects
