Senior Software Engineer, Tokenization
About This Role
This isn't incremental engineering—it's foundational work on distributed ledger systems that will reshape asset ownership for a generation. You'll join a tight-knit group of frontier technologists solving genuinely hard problems at the intersection of crypto, DeFi, and traditional capital markets, with outsized ownership over architecture decisions from day one.
What You'll Be Doing
Design and ship production-grade smart contracts that tokenize real-world assets at institutional scale
Architect secure, auditable systems bridging legacy finance with decentralized protocols
Collaborate cross-functionally with product, compliance, and research teams to translate complex financial instruments into on-chain primitives
Optimize blockchain infrastructure for throughput, security, and interoperability across multiple networks
Mentor fellow engineers while raising the bar for code quality and smart contract security practices
Prototype novel tokenization models that push the boundaries of what DeFi can support
What We're Looking For
5+ years of professional software engineering experience, with meaningful time spent in blockchain or distributed systems
Deep fluency in smart contract development (Solidity or equivalent) and understanding of on-chain security tradeoffs
Track record of shipping complex, high-reliability systems in production environments
Strong grasp of cryptographic principles, consensus mechanisms, or tokenomics
Excellent communication skills—able to translate technical nuance for non-technical stakeholders
A builder's mindset: comfortable operating with ambiguity in a fast-moving crypto landscape
Bonus Points
Experience tokenizing real-world assets (securities, real estate, commodities)
Contributions to open-source DeFi protocols or Layer 1/Layer 2 ecosystems
Familiarity with regulatory considerations around digital assets and compliant token issuance
Background in traditional finance paired with web3 expertise
