Senior/Staff React Native Engineer
About This Role
MoonPay is building the operating system for value movement — spanning crypto, stablecoins, and tokenized assets — for 30M+ customers and 500+ ecosystem partners globally. You'll join a lean, high-ownership Experiences squad where your technical decisions on React Native directly shape how people interact with blockchain and web3 products at scale. What You'll Be Doing
Architect and ship new and existing React Native features powering crypto trading, funding, and spend experiences
Partner closely with Product Managers to design implementation strategies for new distributed ledger-based product pillars
Collaborate cross-functionally with other engineering teams to deliver polished, customer-facing web3 features
Drive estimation, planning, and execution across complex mobile projects and third-party integrations
Integrate with external service providers to ensure resilient, production-grade connectivity for crypto and DeFi products
Champion mobile engineering best practices across a small, high-velocity squad of 4-6 engineers
What We're Looking For
Deep hands-on experience building and shipping production React Native apps for iOS and Android at scale
Strong understanding of mobile architecture patterns, performance optimization, and state management
Experience working in fast-paced, cross-functional teams within fintech, crypto, or blockchain environments
Comfort owning technical decisions end-to-end, from design through deployment
Excellent communication skills and a bias toward outcomes over process
Familiarity with integrating third-party APIs and SDKs, including crypto wallets or payment rails
Bonus Points
Prior experience building consumer apps involving smart contracts, wallets, or decentralized exchanges
Exposure to tokenized assets, stablecoins, or on-chain trading products
Experience working within regulated fintech or crypto environments
Familiarity with AI-assisted development workflows
