"What You'll Be Doing"
About This Role
We're looking for a technically and commercially minded Trader to join our Market Making desk in London. This role is responsible for running, analysing and improving our automated liquidity strategies, while working closely with clients to respond to their needs and enhance the enterprise value of our desk. You'll sit at the intersection of trading, quantitative research and commercials, contributing to the strategies behind our bespoke Market Making solutions and playing an integral role in the desk's economics, including meeting and sourcing new clients. The role calls for a mix of strong communication skills and hands-on coding ability in Python, Rust and/or SQL.
What You'll Be Doing
Work alongside experienced, highly successful traders in a fast-paced and intense environment
Manage risk and help shape trading strategies as part of a compact team covering DeFi, market making, and yield strategies
Collaborate closely with trading and sales to close commercial deals and bring in new business; engage with clients, build your network, understand deal sourcing and deal flow, and contribute ideas for business growth
Configure and tune strategy parameters in response to changing market conditions while developing world-class market-making strategies
Help build out infrastructure and drive initiatives that enhance the enterprise value of the desk and improve what we offer clients
What We're Looking For
2–5 years of experience in market making, quantitative trading, electronic trading, or on an institutional desk (crypto experience preferred)
A commercially aware mindset suited to a fast-paced, intense environment
Strong understanding of financial markets, DeFi, algorithmic trading, and crypto TGEs/listing structures
Proficiency in Python, Rust, AI tooling, and/or SQL
