About This Role
We're searching for a VP of Finance to become a core strategic partner within our executive leadership, shaping capital strategy and long-range financial planning for a company operating at the bleeding edge of blockchain scalability. This isn't a back-office finance role—it's a chance to build the financial infrastructure underpinning a distributed ledger ecosystem that secures billions in value and processes millions of transactions. What You'll Be Doing
Define and execute Offchain's capital strategy, ensuring the organization is positioned for sustainable growth across the Ethereum and broader web3 landscape
Build and institutionalize scalable financial systems, controls, and reporting processes fit for a rapidly expanding crypto infrastructure company
Partner directly with founders and executives to translate financial insights into actionable business and product strategy
Oversee forecasting, budgeting, and long-term financial modeling tailored to the unique dynamics of decentralized protocols and token economies
Lead financial operations supporting smart contracts, treasury management, and DeFi-adjacent financial instruments
Assess current financial processes and deliver a clear roadmap for improvement and maturity
What We're Looking For
Proven senior finance leadership experience, ideally within blockchain, crypto, fintech, or high-growth technology environments
Deep understanding of corporate finance, capital planning, and financial systems architecture
Comfort operating in ambiguity, building processes from the ground up within a fast-moving distributed systems company
Strong communication skills with the ability to translate complex financial concepts for technical and non-technical stakeholders alike
Demonstrated ability to balance high-level strategic thinking with hands-on execution
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; CPA or MBA a plus
Bonus Points
Direct experience with crypto treasury management, token economics, or DeFi financial products
Familiarity with Ethereum, layer-2 scaling solutions, or blockchain infrastructure businesses
Experience navigating financial operations across global, remote-first organizations
Background working alongside institutional investors or venture-backed crypto startups
