2027 Digital Infrastructure Intern - NYC
About This Role
The Galaxy NYC Summer Internship Program is a nine-week, on-site experience at the company's New York headquarters. Interns on the Digital Infrastructure team gain hands-on exposure to real products and problems alongside the people building them, alongside professional development programming, social events, and networking with senior leaders. The program runs June 7 – August 6, 2027, and interns are classified as non-exempt employees paid $55/hr.
What You'll Be Doing
Develop into one of Galaxy's technical and strategic resources on blockchain infrastructure and on-chain protocols, including Staking, DeFi, and Tokenization.
Work across Galaxy's infrastructure business, partnering with the Staking, DeFi, Tokenization, Edge, and GK8 teams.
Own a Digital Infrastructure project end-to-end and present results to the team at the close of the summer.
Support the build-out of a blockchain infrastructure-focused operating business with a full suite of products, with emphasis on creating new products and processes.
Use data and AI-assisted tooling to accelerate research, analysis, and prototyping.
Conduct and summarize core research findings and propose new product suites.
What We're Looking For
Interest in and knowledge of the cryptocurrency ecosystem.

Proactive and entrepreneurial spirit.
Self-directed, curious, and comfortable in a fast-paced, iterative workflow.
Comfort working across multiple workstreams and teams in a whitespace environment.
Strong organizational skills.
Demonstrated interest in building on-chain personal projects in areas such as DeFi, prop AMMs, institutional custody, tokenization, or staking/validators/node infrastructure.
Undergraduate or master's students graduating between December 2027 and June 2028.
Eligible master's students must have fewer than two years of relevant, full-time work experience.
Students enrolled in PhD or JD programs are not eligible to apply.
Bonus Points
Pursuing a degree in a quantitative field such as computer science, statistics, mathematics, physics, economics, or engineering.
Strong understanding of AI and agentic workflows.
Smart contract proficiency: Solidity, Rust, etc.
Data analysis skills: Python, SQL.
