What You'll Be Doing
Design and execute full-funnel marketing strategies for multiple blockchain and smart contract-driven initiatives
Produce sharp, engaging content that translates complex DeFi and distributed systems concepts for diverse audiences
Own campaign performance end-to-end, tracking metrics and optimizing for growth across crypto-native channels
Mentor and direct a cross-functional marketing team to consistently exceed goals under tight timelines
Represent Metis Foundation at global conferences, panels, and community events as a thought leader
Build authentic relationships with community members, partners, and key stakeholders across the web3 space
What We're Looking For
Proven track record managing marketing strategy within blockchain, crypto, or decentralized finance environments
Strong command of web3-native platforms, communities, and communication channels (Discord, Twitter/X, Telegram)
Demonstrated leadership experience guiding marketing teams toward ambitious KPIs
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including public speaking confidence
Ability to thrive under pressure, juggling multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
Willingness and flexibility to travel internationally for events and partnerships
Bonus Points
Prior experience marketing Layer 2 scaling solutions or zero-knowledge technology
Established network within DeFi, crypto-native media, or blockchain developer communities
Familiarity with tokenomics and smart contract ecosystems
Experience launching go-to-market strategies for emerging distributed ledger products

Required Skills and Experience: • Proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing strategies in the Web3 space. • Exceptional writing and communication skills. • Expertise in online marketing techniques and tools. • Deep understanding of Liquid Staking and DeFi where exceptional financial skills meet innovative marketing strategies. • Experience in managing teams and leading people towards achieving marketing goals. • Ability to perform effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines. • Knowledge of non-violent communication principles to enhance team collaboration and stakeholder engagement. • Public speaking prowess with experience in engaging and influencing audiences. • Valid passport with readiness for international travel as needed.
