Binance Accelerator Program - Applied Data Scientist
About This Role
This opening is part of the Binance Accelerator Program (BAP), a 3-6 month internship designed for early-career talent — current university students and recent graduates — to gain hands-on experience in the digital assets space. Terms of employment are subject to contract and applicable local laws.
What You'll Be Doing
Help design and develop LLM-powered pipelines for agentic trading, including reasoning agent components, tool-use frameworks via MCP, and automated workflow execution across crypto markets.
Build and evaluate prompt engineering strategies, test-time scaling approaches, and retrieval architectures for crypto-native data sources such as on-chain data, market feeds, news, and sentiment signals.
Design and run model evaluation experiments, defining quality metrics for agent reasoning in financial contexts, executing benchmarks, and summarizing findings into actionable insights.
Analyze agent performance in live trading scenarios, including decision accuracy, latency, reliability, and robustness against adversarial conditions.
Apply AI-native development practices using agentic coding tools as part of standard engineering workflows, writing and running Python code for strategy logic, data pipelines, and agent evaluation.
What We're Looking For
Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related technical field.
Expected graduation in 2026 or 2027.
Strong Python programming skills, with demonstrated use of AI-native development practices — using agentic coding tools (such as Claude Code, Cursor, or GitHub Copilot Workspace) as a core part of your workflow.
Foundational understanding of how large language models work, including attention mechanisms, prompting, and the distinction between standard generation and reasoning models.
A structured approach to problem-solving and the ability to work independently on defined tasks.
