This is a rare hybrid position sitting at the crossroads of engineering, product, and sales — built for someone who loves solving hard technical puzzles while closing real-world deals. You'll be the go-to technical voice guiding institutional partners through every stage of blockchain adoption, from architecture design to full production rollout. Backed by $178M in funding from a16z and Paradigm, we're moving fast and need an exceptional operator who thrives in ambiguity.
What You'll Be Doing
Serve as the lead technical partner for enterprises and institutions evaluating or integrating OP Stack-based smart contracts and rollup infrastructure
Run technical discovery sessions covering security, compliance, performance, and distributed systems architecture
Build and manage test environments—devnets, benchmarks, cloud deployments—to validate throughput, latency, and cost models
Translate institutional requirements into actionable feedback for product and engineering teams shaping the roadmap
Support integrations with custody providers, cloud platforms, and system integrators like Fireblocks and AWS
Guide partners through deployment models, upgrade paths, and migration from permissioned experiments to live production networks
What We're Looking For
5+ years in a Solutions Architect, Sales Engineer, or Technical Pre-Sales capacity
Deep understanding of blockchain infrastructure, distributed systems, or financial technology stacks
Hands-on experience with Ethereum or EVM-compatible networks, ideally across Layer 1 and Layer 2 ecosystems
Strong grasp of rollups, sequencing, finality, and smart contract architecture
Comfort translating complex crypto and web3 concepts for both engineers and business stakeholders
Experience engaging regulated institutions such as banks, asset managers, or payment providers is a major plus
Bonus Points
Prior work supporting DeFi protocols or institutional crypto integrations
Familiarity with cloud-native production deployment environments
Multilingual capability, especially Japanese technical documentation and enablement
Track record of building 0→1 partnerships and go-to-market strategies independently
