What You'll Be Doing
Serve as the lead technical partner for enterprise and institutional teams evaluating or integrating the OP Stack into live, production-grade systems
Run technical discovery sessions covering architecture, throughput, security, and compliance for distributed systems and DeFi-adjacent infrastructure
Build and manage test environments—devnets, performance benchmarks, and cloud deployments—to validate real-world blockchain performance
Translate institutional requirements into actionable feedback for product and engineering teams shaping Optimism's roadmap
Guide partners through deployment models, upgrade paths, and best practices for scaling from pilot to production
Support integrations with custody providers, wallets, and cloud platforms such as Fireblocks and AWS
What We're Looking For
5+ years in a Solutions Architect, Sales Engineer, or Technical Pre-Sales capacity, ideally within blockchain, fintech, or distributed systems
Hands-on experience with Ethereum or EVM-based networks, including Layer 1 or Layer 2 rollups
Deep understanding of blockchain architecture — sequencing, finality, smart contracts, and network operations
Comfort engaging with regulated institutions like banks, exchanges, and asset managers
Ability to communicate complex web3 concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
Strong independent operator mindset, capable of closing deals and building partnerships from scratch
Bonus Points
Experience with cloud-native deployment environments and performance tuning for high-throughput systems
Familiarity with the broader DeFi and crypto ecosystem, including custody and compliance tooling
Japanese language fluency for technical documentation and partner enablement
Track record of driving 0→1 go-to-market strategies in emerging tech sectors
