We're seeking a Regulatory Strategy Lead who can translate complex banking compliance requirements into actionable frameworks that let decentralized finance thrive without friction.
What You'll Be Doing
Design and implement regulatory roadmaps that bridge traditional banking compliance with emerging DeFi and smart contract ecosystems
Partner with engineering and leadership teams to ensure blockchain products meet evolving financial regulations across jurisdictions
Build relationships with banking institutions, regulators, and legal partners to establish credible on-ramps for crypto-to-fiat operations
Advise on licensing structures, KYC/AML protocols, and risk frameworks specific to distributed ledger technology
Represent Autheo's regulatory posture in investor discussions, partnership negotiations, and public-facing initiatives
Monitor shifting crypto legislation and proactively adapt company strategy to maintain compliance advantage
What We're Looking For
Proven background in banking, financial regulation, or compliance—ideally with direct crypto or fintech exposure
Deep understanding of how decentralized systems intersect with existing financial law and institutional banking requirements
Entrepreneurial mindset comfortable with equity-based compensation and startup ambiguity
Strong communication skills for engaging regulators, banks, and blockchain-native stakeholders alike
Strategic thinker who can balance innovation with risk mitigation in a fast-moving Web3 environment
Self-starter capable of operating independently in a part-time, high-autonomy cofounder capacity
Bonus Points
Direct experience with DePIN projects, Layer-Zero protocols, or cross-chain infrastructure
Existing relationships with regulatory bodies or chartered banking institutions
Familiarity with AI-enabled blockchain applications and smart contract compliance tooling
Prior cofounder or early-stage startup experience in the crypto space
