What You'll Be Doing
Lead compliance strategy around crypto assets, smart contracts, and decentralized finance products
Assess country-specific risk exposure tied to cross-border transactions and emerging blockchain networks
Monitor evolving global trade regulations and translate them into actionable internal policies
Partner with legal, risk, and product teams to evaluate new crypto and distributed ledger initiatives
Conduct due diligence on crypto counterparties, exchanges, and decentralized protocols
Build scalable compliance programs that balance innovation with regulatory rigor
What We're Looking For
5+ years in compliance, trade sanctions, or risk management, ideally touching crypto or fintech
Strong understanding of blockchain fundamentals, smart contracts, and decentralized ecosystems
Experience navigating OFAC, export controls, and international trade regulations
Analytical mindset with ability to assess country and counterparty risk in volatile markets
Excellent communication skills to translate complex regulatory concepts for cross-functional teams
Comfort operating in a fast-paced, evolving regulatory landscape
Bonus Points
Prior experience with crypto exchanges, digital asset custodians, or DeFi protocols
Familiarity with FATF guidance on virtual assets and distributed ledger technology
Certifications such as CAMS, CCI, or blockchain-specific compliance credentials
