As Deputy CTO, you'll co-pilot our engineering strategy across Capital Markets and Asset & Wealth Management divisions, working alongside pioneers who brought Rust programming to Web3 trading systems. What You'll Be Doing
Partner with the CTO to define and execute technology roadmaps spanning algorithmic trading, smart contracts, and distributed systems infrastructure
Lead engineering teams building low-latency trading platforms that interface with decentralized and centralized exchanges alike
Drive architectural decisions for high-throughput systems supporting DeFi strategies and digital asset market-making
Mentor senior engineers while fostering a culture of technical excellence across blockchain-native development
Evaluate emerging distributed ledger technologies and assess their application to trading infrastructure
Collaborate cross-functionally with quant researchers, traders, and compliance teams to deliver secure, scalable solutions
What We're Looking For
10+ years of engineering leadership experience, ideally within trading firms, fintech, or crypto-native organizations
Deep technical fluency in distributed systems, with hands-on experience in Rust, C++, or similar performance-critical languages
Proven track record architecting infrastructure for blockchain, web3, or digital asset platforms
Strong understanding of smart contracts, exchange connectivity, and market microstructure
Exceptional communication skills and ability to translate complex technical concepts to executive stakeholders
Experience scaling engineering teams in high-growth, fast-paced environments
Bonus Points
Direct experience with DeFi protocols, decentralized exchanges, or on-chain trading mechanisms
Familiarity with multiple blockchain ecosystems (Ethereum, Solana, Layer 2 networks)
Background in quantitative trading systems or algorithmic execution engines
Contributions to open-source blockchain or crypto infrastructure projects
