About This Role
This is a rare operator-facing position where you won't just advise founders — you'll actively run the raise. You'll serve as the connective tissue between groundbreaking blockchain startups and the investors who fuel them, turning early traction into compelling, fundable narratives. If you thrive on deal-making, relationship-building, and the fast-paced energy of crypto fundraising, this role offers outsized impact and visibility across an entire portfolio of web3 ventures.
What You'll Be Doing
Lead end-to-end capital raises for multiple portfolio companies, from investor outreach through term sheet negotiation and close
Build and maintain a robust pipeline of funds, family offices, and strategic partners active in blockchain and decentralized technology investing
Craft investor-ready narratives that translate technical traction—smart contracts shipped, protocol metrics, DeFi adoption—into compelling fundraising stories
Conduct rigorous diligence processes on behalf of portfolio founders to ensure deal readiness
Negotiate term sheets and deal structures that protect founder and studio interests alike
Leverage and expand a live Silicon Valley investor network to accelerate fundraising velocity across the portfolio
What We're Looking For
Proven track record raising capital for crypto, blockchain, or web3 companies
Deep, active relationships with funds, family offices, and strategic investors in the Silicon Valley ecosystem
Strong grasp of DeFi fundamentals, tokenomics, and decentralized business models
Exceptional negotiation skills with experience closing term sheets and structuring rounds
Ability to operate autonomously across multiple portfolio companies simultaneously
Sharp storytelling instincts — able to translate technical blockchain progress into investor-friendly narratives
Bonus Points
Prior experience at a venture studio, accelerator, or multi-company operating platform
Background in crypto-native fundraising mechanisms (SAFTs, token warrants, etc.)
Existing relationships with leading web3-focused funds and strategic partners
Technical fluency in smart contracts and distributed systems architecture
