We're seeking a Head of Marketing for a venture developing a next-generation, EVM-compatible blockchain purpose-built for high-throughput, large-scale applications. Unlike legacy distributed ledger systems burdened by latency and high gas fees, this protocol is engineered for speed and cost-efficiency—empowering developers, creators, and communities to build ownable, interoperable products without compromise. You'll be the architect of how this technology is perceived, positioned, and adopted across the global crypto and developer ecosystem.
What You'll Be Doing
Craft and execute a comprehensive marketing strategy that positions the protocol as a leader in scalable blockchain infrastructure
Build brand narratives that resonate with developers, DeFi builders, and Web3-native communities
Lead go-to-market campaigns for smart contract tooling, ecosystem partnerships, and major protocol milestones
Drive community growth and engagement across social, Discord, and developer-focused channels
Collaborate cross-functionally with product, engineering, and business development teams to align messaging with technical roadmaps
Own content strategy, PR, and thought leadership initiatives to establish authority in the decentralized infrastructure space
What We're Looking For
Proven experience leading marketing functions within blockchain, crypto, or decentralized technology companies
Deep understanding of Web3 ecosystems, smart contracts, and DeFi market dynamics
Strong track record building and scaling brand presence within crypto-native communities
Excellent storytelling and communication skills tailored to both technical and mainstream audiences
Experience managing cross-functional teams and external agency partners
Entrepreneurial mindset comfortable operating in fast-paced, ambiguous environments
Bonus Points
Experience launching Layer 1 or Layer 2 blockchain protocols
Established network within the EVM-compatible chain and developer tooling ecosystem
Familiarity with token launch strategy and community incentive design
Background in gaming, metaverse, or immersive application marketing
