New Media Manager, Social and Community Growth
About This Role
This is a hands-on, maker's role for someone who thrives at the intersection of distributed ledger technology and modern media production. You'll own new-platform strategy for a foundation driving one of the most active smart contracts ecosystems in web3, reaching developers, DeFi users, and newcomers to onchain finance across the globe.
What You'll Be Doing
Build a platform-specific growth thesis for YouTube, TikTok, and whatever's next—no X recycling allowed
Launch recurring, subscribable formats instead of one-off posts about blockchain and crypto trends
Recruit and develop on-camera talent from across the decentralized ecosystem, including founders and builders
Plan content strategy ahead of major events like Breakpoint and Hacker Houses, not after
Localize formats for regional, non-English audiences already engaging with web3
Manage editors and contractors to consistent output, cadence, and budget
Translate audience data into actionable insight for cross-functional marketing teams
What We're Looking For
Proven track record growing a YouTube channel or long-form video presence with real, explainable metrics
Hands-on production ability—scripting, shooting, editing—without relying on agencies
Deep fluency in crypto and web3 culture, including its nuance and humor
Sharp instinct for why one format succeeds while a similar one flops
Comfort on camera, or a clear plan for who will be
Fluency with AI tools for scripting, editing, localization, and performance analysis
