About This Role
Assets are landing on ledgers faster than anyone has built a way to move them between ledgers. Collateral sits on one chain while the position it should margin sits on another, and delivery-versus-payment and payment-versus-payment both break once the two legs live on different ledgers. The available workaround, bridges, has lost more than $2.8 billion since 2021. The team that built Hedera from the ground up is now building a cross-ledger solution for institutional settlement — covering collateral mobility, DvP, PvP, cross-border payments, and FX across public and private ledgers that don't otherwise interoperate. This role will define the product and own the roadmap, reporting directly to the founder.
What You'll Be Doing
Own product requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and the roadmap.
Work closely with business development on go-to-market execution, defining a product the market needs and BD can sell.
Report product status and roadmap changes directly to the founders and executive team.
Design and run trials with external validators, partners, and customers.
Make the release readiness call on performance, security, and usability, surfacing tough questions before launch.
Run program management across stakeholder groups, keeping BD, Marketing, and Engineering in sync.
What We're Looking For
10+ years in product management, product leadership, or an equivalent operating role.
5+ years of that within FX, payments, settlement, clearing, custody, collateral management, or banking infrastructure.
Real operating experience in FX exchange, payments, settlement, or banking-rail businesses, with understanding of cross-border payments, stablecoins, on/off-ramps, and how players like SWIFT and Stripe fit together.
Direct working knowledge of at least two of: FX execution and settlement, cross-border payments, DvP or PvP settlement, collateral mobility, treasury operations, tokenized deposits.
Experience owning a roadmap end to end, including making hard calls.
Experience writing product requirements that engineering teams built from directly.
Experience presenting to executives, boards, or institutional steering committees.
Willingness to travel to customer, validator, and partner sites, including internationally.
Bonus Points
Distributed ledger or Layer 1 experience.
Experience working inside a consortium, governing council, or member-owned network model.
Exposure to CCIP, Circle and ARC, Canton, Ripple, or comparable enterprise platforms.
Familiarity with stablecoin mechanics, on-ramps and off-ramps, and tokenized collateral.
Experience as a first product hire or in zero-to-one roles at an early-stage company.
