About This Role
This is an exhilarating opportunity to develop and host a tentpole crypto podcast, becoming the face and voice of a leading information platform. You'll drive meaningful conversations with industry leaders, contribute to the crypto dialogue, and significantly impact how our audience understands the evolving digital asset landscape.
What You'll Be Doing
Host two weekly podcast episodes, including planning, scripting, and recording.
Design and develop podcast content and themes, leveraging current crypto and macro news.
Identify, source, and secure high-potential guests for engaging discussions.
Partner with the editorial team to contribute content for newsletters.
Drive social engagement across personal and professional channels to grow the audience.
Collaborate with the sales team to build new sponsorship opportunities and maintain current relationships.
Learn, embrace, and grow the Blockworks audience by understanding segments and stimulating engagement.
Represent the show at in-person events like meet-ups, hackathons, and Blockworks conferences.
What We're Looking For
Deep understanding of blockchain architecture and related ecosystems/networks (crypto native).
Demonstrated success hosting or producing crypto content (podcasts, webinars, blogs, etc.).
Experience interviewing technical experts and facilitating substantive discussions.
Ability to discern compelling stories and break down complex concepts into engaging narratives.
Natural connector with the ability to engage with technical founders, researchers, and thought leaders.
Comfortable and proficient behind a microphone and camera.
Provides a balanced, neutral voice while driving technical discussions.
Intimate knowledge of the crypto ecosystem and current news/narratives.
