Internal Audit Manager

Our Audit & Risk function operates as an Integrated Assurance team, combining Internal Audit and Enterprise Risk Management across multiple regulated entities. As we acquire and integrate businesses globally, you'll be at the center of ensuring governance, controls, and compliance keep pace with our growth across traditional finance, crypto, and decentralized ecosystems.
What You'll Be Doing
Lead risk-based operational audits spanning governance, regulatory, financial, and operational domains across a multi-jurisdictional web3 and fintech business
Direct post-acquisition integration audits, assessing control design and effectiveness as new entities join our ecosystem
Evaluate integration risk across licensing, change-of-control conditions, data migration, key-person retention, and culture
Deploy AI-enabled auditing—generative AI, agentic workflows, and analytics—to expand coverage while retaining human judgment over conclusions
Manage multiple concurrent engagements end-to-end, from planning through fieldwork to final reporting
Mentor junior auditors and coordinate co-sourced specialists to deliver quality outcomes on time
What We're Looking For
Proven experience leading operational or integration audits within financial services, crypto, or blockchain-adjacent industries
Strong grasp of risk assessment methodologies and internal controls across regulatory, financial, and operational functions
Comfort directing specialist SMEs while retaining ownership of audit judgment and conclusions
Excellent written and verbal communication skills for engaging senior stakeholders across Compliance, Legal, Risk, and Engineering
Experience applying IIA Global Internal Audit Standards and quality assurance frameworks
Ability to manage multiple complex, cross-jurisdictional engagements simultaneously
Bonus Points
Familiarity with crypto, DeFi, or distributed systems risk environments
Experience auditing smart contracts, digital asset custody, or blockchain-based financial products
Background in M&A integration audits within regulated or decentralized finance sectors
Exposure to AI-driven audit tools and data analytics platforms
