What You'll Be Doing
Work with other professionals to define functional and non-functional requirements for new software or applications
Use tools and methodologies to build representations of the desired product's functions and user interface
Develop high-level product specifications with attention to system integration and feasibility
Participate in all aspects of development, from selecting appropriate technology and workflow to establishing coding standards
Communicate concepts and guidelines clearly to the development team
Provide technical guidance on Web3 and Blockchain topics to developers and engineers
Ensure software meets quality, security, modifiability, extensibility and other requirements
Interact with multiple stakeholders, including technical and business leaders working closely with Santander's global Blockchain Center of Excellence and Digital Assets Unit
What We're Looking For
Knowledge of technological transformation
Experience with software development, DevSecOps, agile methodologies and others
Practical knowledge of major Blockchain technologies (Ethereum/EVM), their deployment models and network design, with an understanding of smart contract design and deployment
Experience writing code in Java and NodeJS (TypeScript or JavaScript)
Experience with the Solidity programming language
Experience with Hardhat or Foundry tools
Experience with mission-critical, high-availability and resilient systems
Experience with technical architecture standards
Analytical and problem-solving skills
Communication skills
Affinity for Digital Assets and Blockchain
Advanced English (reading, writing and speaking)
Experience developing and implementing architectures, best practices and cloud enablement
Experience with traditional back-end software architecture and microservices development
Experience with public clouds (AWS)

Experience with enterprise-level Blockchain-related development software in an agile development cycle
Practical knowledge of major Blockchain technologies (Ethereum/EVM, Solana), their deployment models and network design, including smart contract design and deployment
Experience with Web3 security tools
Experience designing systems using event-driven architecture (EDA)
Experience with the Rust programming language
Experience with MPC and MPS architectures
Experience with asset tokenization
Knowledge of custody technologies and models for cryptographic keys
Experience managing digital asset service providers
Experience supporting and delivering financial and banking products
Experience with Zero-Knowledge Proof solutions (zk-STARKs, zk-SNARKs, zkEVM)
Knowledge of applied cryptography
