What You'll Be Doing
Manage the risk and workflows of UBS's 24/7 Digital Asset offering in Switzerland during weekends
Coordinate resolution of infrequent system outages, working closely with Global Service Delivery and other support functions
Collaborate with stakeholders, including clients and technology teams, to shape future product requirements and detailed design specifications for the Digital Asset offering
Gain exposure to managing risk from electronic market-making in FX, Precious Metals (cash & EFPs) and non-deliverable forwards
Price and hedge positions, which are typically handled by algorithm but occasionally require human intervention during system outages or extreme market events
Work across teams such as sales, quant trading and support to help fine-tune the trading system and improve performance
Partner with the Sales team to identify opportunities to grow UBS's market presence, including joining client meetings and calls to gather relevant information
Work with Quant Traders and Quant Development teams on pricing, hedging and other system enhancements
Build a strong understanding of FX market microstructure and exchange-side products
Develop and follow relevant regulations, compliance policies, desk policies, limits and guidelines
What We're Looking For
Prior experience working either for a Digital Asset native company or on an eFX trading desk
Relevant understanding of the Digital Asset landscape and its market participants
Comfortable working weekends
Knowledge of settlement procedures around digital assets
A self-starter who is reliable and passionate about the client experience
Able to work well under pressure, both independently and collaboratively
A responsible, risk-conscious mindset, with curiosity and willingness to challenge the status quo
Ability to build strong client networks, with an entrepreneurial mindset
Excellent communication skills
Comfortable analyzing large data sets using data visualization tools
Knowledge of, or interest in, electronic trading
Knowledge of or experience with applications such as Python, JupyterHub, MATLAB, q, and kx systems
Curiosity about how AI can improve workflows, applied with sound judgment, validating outputs and aligning with policies, risk standards and ethical use
