About This Role
BlockTech is an algorithmic trading firm headquartered in Amsterdam, with a second office in Singapore. It specializes in market making and trades cryptocurrency derivatives and spot markets globally using its own capital, and is growing fast and expanding into new markets. Traders work side by side with quantitative researchers and engineers, so the path from a market read to live PnL is short.
What You'll Be Doing
Monitor and operate automated trading systems and dashboards in live markets.
Adjust pricing and parameters as market behavior shifts.
Manage positions and the associated risk.
Develop and deploy new strategies together with quantitative researchers and engineers.
Research new business opportunities and stay on top of market news and changes.
What We're Looking For
A strong academic background in a quantitative field such as mathematics, physics, statistics, or computer science.
Proficiency in Python.
Focus and composure behind the screen when markets get busy.
A strong sense of ownership and excellent collaboration skills.
