"What You'll Be Doing"
About This Role
The candidate will report to a Senior Director of Trading and Markets, performing a multifaceted role that helps drive key initiatives, including the client-facing trading franchise, adoption of the Ripple stablecoin, and Tokenisation with a focus on on-chain dynamics.
What You'll Be Doing
Working closely with the Trading and Markets leadership team to help define team priorities and track performance for RLUSD initiatives, both on chain and off chain
Coordinating cross-functionally on key initiatives, supporting the build-out, monitoring and development of overall strategy
Developing in-depth analysis and presenting novel ideas to Trading and Markets leadership
Contributing to various aspects of Ripple's stablecoin (RLUSD) market development, including institutional adoption, liquidity management, operational efficiency and governance
Engaging in market analysis and research (on chain and off chain) to identify trends and opportunities across decentralized finance and traditional finance
Assisting in managing relationships with development partners, market makers, and other key market participants
Supporting internal teams with broader company efforts
Building subject matter expertise on the convergence of digital assets, the XRPL, and traditional finance
What We're Looking For
Bachelor's degree in an analytical discipline (advanced degrees are a plus)
5+ years of experience in trading, finance, or related fields, with a focus on digital assets, FX, commodities or fixed income
Demonstrated knowledge of trading and market infrastructure in digital assets and/or traditional finance
Ability to work with little direction on novel concepts, from validating theory through to productionizing an offering
Comfortable working on multiple projects simultaneously across different streams in capital markets
Ability to process complicated information quickly and accurately under pressure
Strong ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
Passion for blockchain, fintech, markets, and technological innovation in trading
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complicated topics simply and clearly
