About This Role
This isn't your typical nonprofit administration gig. We need a seasoned association builder who already speaks the language of venture capital, token economics, and decentralized ecosystems. You'll be at the center of a thriving crypto and blockchain community, helping orchestrate relationships between founders navigating Pre-IPO, IPO, and post-IPO capital pathways within the Web3 investment landscape.
What You'll Be Doing
Lead day-to-day operations of a high-caliber Web3 venture and investment association, ensuring smooth execution of member services and programming
Cultivate and manage relationships with founders, venture capitalists, and institutional investors active in blockchain and DeFi markets
Design and execute strategic initiatives that support capital formation across Pre-IPO, IPO, and post-IPO stages
Build scalable systems and processes to support a growing network of crypto-native founders and capital allocators
Represent the association at industry events, positioning it as a trusted hub within the decentralized finance and smart contract ecosystem
Collaborate with leadership to shape association strategy, membership growth, and community engagement
What We're Looking For
Proven track record managing or building high-level associations, communities, or networks within venture capital, startups, or capital markets
Deep familiarity with Web3, blockchain, and crypto industry dynamics—this is non-negotiable
Solid understanding of capital-raising pathways including Pre-IPO, IPO, and post-IPO structures
Strong relationship-management skills with founders, investors, and institutional stakeholders
Exceptional organizational and operational abilities suited to fast-moving, high-growth environments
Excellent communication skills and comfort operating in a part-time, high-impact leadership capacity
Bonus Points
Prior experience working directly with blockchain startups, DeFi protocols, or smart contract platforms
Existing network within the venture capital or crypto investment community
Background in financial services, capital markets, or startup accelerator environments
Familiarity with token-based governance or decentralized organizational structures
