Senior Engineer - Blockchain Platforms
About This Role
This is a hands-on engineering position for someone who thrives on building resilient Layer-1 integrations and core blockchain infrastructure. You'll work shoulder-to-shoulder with custody and security teams to ensure every smart contract interaction, wallet transaction, and on-chain workflow is bulletproof, auditable, and ready for scale. What You'll Be Doing
Design and maintain Layer-1 blockchain integrations connecting custody platforms to multiple distributed ledger networks
Build and scale core infrastructure services supporting wallet engineering and digital asset operations
Develop secure, observable blockchain workflows for custody, settlement, and tokenization use cases
Partner with security teams to implement best practices for key management, signing, and transaction validation
Monitor and optimize blockchain node infrastructure for uptime, performance, and fault tolerance
Collaborate cross-functionally with product and operations teams to ship production-ready web3 features
What We're Looking For
5+ years of software engineering experience, with significant time spent on blockchain or distributed systems
Proven expertise integrating Layer-1 protocols and working with node infrastructure
Strong understanding of wallet architecture, key management, and custody-related blockchain workflows
Experience building secure, observable, production-grade systems at scale
Solid grasp of smart contracts and on-chain transaction mechanics
Excellent collaboration skills and comfort working closely with security-focused teams
Bonus Points
Experience with DeFi protocols or tokenization platforms
Familiarity with multi-chain architectures and cross-chain interoperability
Background in HSM integration or MPC-based signing solutions
Contributions to open-source blockchain projects
