Senior Engineer - Blockchain Platforms
About This Role
This is a builder's role at the intersection of security, infrastructure, and distributed systems. You'll work deep in the stack — integrating Layer-1 networks, engineering wallet infrastructure, and designing custody workflows that institutions trust with real digital assets. If you're energized by solving hard problems in blockchain reliability and security at scale, this is your playground.
What You'll Be Doing
Architect and maintain Layer-1 blockchain integrations across multiple distributed ledger networks
Build and scale core infrastructure services that support secure crypto custody and tokenization pipelines
Engineer wallet systems and key management workflows aligned with institutional-grade security standards
Partner closely with security and custody teams to ensure blockchain transaction flows are observable, auditable, and resilient
Design and implement smart contract interaction layers for tokenized asset workflows
Troubleshoot and optimize blockchain node infrastructure for uptime, throughput, and reliability
What We're Looking For
5+ years of backend or infrastructure engineering experience, with significant exposure to blockchain or distributed systems
Proven hands-on experience integrating with Layer-1 protocols (Bitcoin, Ethereum, or similar networks)
Strong understanding of wallet architecture, key management, and crypto custody fundamentals
Solid grasp of smart contracts and on-chain transaction mechanics
Experience building secure, observable, production-grade infrastructure
Excellent collaboration skills, especially working cross-functionally with security-focused teams
Bonus Points
Experience with multi-party computation (MPC) or hardware security modules (HSM)
Familiarity with DeFi protocols and tokenization frameworks
Background in high-security or regulated financial environments
Contributions to open-source blockchain or web3 projects
