About This Role
This is a senior full-stack engineering role disguised under a "frontend" title. You'll work across the entire application stack in TypeScript and Rust — from trader-facing interfaces to the distributed services powering them — alongside a small, senior team obsessed with reliability, speed, and craftsmanship. If you want to own complex, ambiguous, performance-critical problems end-to-end in a crypto-adjacent trading ecosystem, this is your playground.
What You'll Be Doing
Build full-stack features spanning TypeScript and Rust, from data-dense trading UIs to backend application services
Engineer real-time market-data pipelines across FX, Equities, and Cryptocurrency with low-latency, high-throughput requirements
Develop reactive, performant React interfaces using RX, MobX, or similar state management patterns
Architect distributed systems handling real-time data over REST, WebSockets, and binary network protocols
Design solutions for the toughest technical challenges, driving architecture decisions with confidence
Build observability tooling — dashboards, alerts, and metrics — to keep production systems transparent and resilient
What We're Looking For
5+ years of deep TypeScript/JavaScript (ES6+) expertise with strong full-stack capability
Solid React experience paired with reactive state management (RX, MobX, or equivalent)
Genuine working proficiency in Rust — or a proven ability to rapidly master new languages to real depth
Strong understanding of distributed systems, API design, and real-time protocols (REST, WebSockets, TCP/UDP)
Confidence reasoning about architecture and making defensible trade-offs under pressure
A self-directed mindset — you take ambiguous problems and drive them to production without hand-holding
Bonus Points
Python skills for scripting, tooling, and automation
Comfort with Git workflows and Linux environments
Background in financial services, trading technology, or decentralized finance (DeFi) platforms
Exposure to blockchain-based trading systems or crypto market infrastructure
