    "What You'll Be Doing"

    About This Role

The Growth team is responsible for how Polymarket acquires users and turns attention into trading volume, moving quickly and spending real money across many channels and geographies while being held to business outcomes rather than vanity metrics. The media investment function sits at the center of that effort, and this role is being created to build the analytical backbone that keeps every media dollar accountable.

    What You'll Be Doing

Build the media plan across channels, categories, and geographies, presenting a clear, defensible recommendation with tradeoffs and a point of view

Own forecasting for spend, volume, acquisition cost, payback, and seasonality, maintaining scenario models that make tradeoffs clear before capital is committed, and explaining and improving forecasts when they miss

Pace spend daily and weekly against approved allocations, flagging over- or under-delivery early and surfacing when actual channel or geographic mix drifts from plan

Lead measurement across mix modeling, incrementality testing, and geographic experiments, synthesizing results into a single, defensible view of what's working

Reconcile all media spend, tying platform spend to invoices, agency billing, and the finance ledger, and own accruals, credits, make-goods, and discrepancy resolution through monthly close

Continuously look for edge in auction dynamics, underpriced inventory, seasonality, and competitive activity, recommending in-flight reallocation backed by evidence

Build the reporting and analytics layer the team relies on, including dashboards, metric definitions, and a single source of truth that holds up to scrutiny from finance and leadership

    What We're Looking For

6+ years in media planning, marketing analytics, or growth strategy, with real ownership of plans and numbers rather than a supporting role

Deep fluency across paid channels including search, social, programmatic, video, audio, and offline, enough to pressure-test a buyer's recommendation

Strong quantitative skills in forecasting and scenario modeling, with strong SQL and comfort in BI tools, building your own analysis rather than relying on others

Hands-on experience with mix modeling, incrementality testing, and geographic experiments, with clarity about what each method can and cannot show

Financial rigor and comfort owning a number that must tie out, including reconciliation, accruals, and working directly with finance through monthly close

Ability to compress complex analysis into a one-page recommendation an executive can act on quickly, with a track record of recommendations being adopted

Comfort flagging when spend is off pace, with follow-through to ensure it gets corrected

    Bonus Points

Background in trading, fintech, or event-driven demand businesses where unit economics and payback are closely scrutinized

Experience building mix modeling in-house or managing a measurement vendor to a high standard

Technical range in Python or R, or experience building your own analysis infrastructure

Direct ownership of or meaningful contribution to a marketing P&L
