Senior Security Engineer, Corporate Security

Design, implement, and maintain security solutions that harden Coinbase's macOS, Chromebook, and mobile endpoints, with a focus on secure configurations, compliance, threat detection, and user experience.

Conduct security reviews of enterprise systems and software used to support productivity across the corporate environment.

Partner with cross-functional teams to integrate endpoint and SaaS security into broader corporate engineering initiatives.

Identify and remediate data exfiltration risks introduced by local AI agents and developer tooling (such as coding assistants and LLM harnesses) running on corporate endpoints.

Provide technical guidance and code review support to fellow CorpSec engineers, helping raise the security bar across the organization.

5+ years of experience in security engineering, including at least 2 years securing macOS or similar user endpoints in an enterprise setting.

Demonstrated ability to write production code—services, integrations, and automations—that supports corporate infrastructure security.

Experience independently scoping, prioritizing, and delivering security projects end-to-end in fast-moving environments.

Familiarity with device trust, zero trust network access, or endpoint communication security products (e.g., Cloudflare, Prisma Access, Zscaler).

Responsible use of generative AI, with human oversight, to produce business-ready outputs and drive measurable improvements in workflow efficiency, cost, and quality.
