Built on the Solana blockchain and powered by Metaplex Core, our platform supports self-custody, open-market trading, and seamless collector journeys. As a Senior Software Development Engineer, you'll be at the heart of building the distributed systems that make this possible — combining web3 innovation with rock-solid engineering practices.
What You'll Be Doing
Architect, build, and optimize backend services and APIs that power large-scale digital collecting and marketplace experiences
Design secure, reliable integrations between our platform and blockchain networks, smart contracts, and third-party marketplace systems
Partner closely with product, design, and engineering teams to ship new features from concept to production
Own technical solutions end-to-end — from system architecture through deployment and monitoring
Lead code reviews and champion engineering best practices across the team
Continuously improve system performance, scalability, and reliability for high-traffic digital asset experiences
What We're Looking For
Solid Computer Science fundamentals — data structures, algorithms, and systems design
Proven experience with backend/software development using modern languages and frameworks
Hands-on expertise building RESTful APIs, microservices, and well-structured database systems
Strong grasp of object-oriented programming and applied design patterns in production environments
Experience building scalable, secure, distributed systems in cloud environments (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
Comfort with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and observability tooling in modern dev workflows
Excellent communication skills and the ability to mentor peers in a remote, cross-functional setting
Bonus Points
Direct experience with blockchain, crypto, or Web3 ecosystems — Solana knowledge is a strong plus
Familiarity with smart contracts, NFT standards, or decentralized marketplace mechanics
Exposure to DeFi protocols or digital asset trading platforms
Background working with high-scale consumer-facing products
