About This Role
As a Senior Solutions Architect (Forward Deployed Engineer) within Chainalysis' Blockchain Foundations unit, you'll work at the heart of Alterya, an AI-powered fraud prevention platform safeguarding fintechs, banks, and crypto-native businesses. What You'll Be Doing
Architect and deploy tailored fraud-detection solutions that integrate seamlessly with client infrastructure across crypto, fintech, and traditional banking environments
Translate complex blockchain and web3 data into actionable fraud intelligence for enterprise customers
Partner directly with clients as a technical advisor, guiding implementation of Alterya's AI and smart contract-aware detection systems
Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, product, and data science teams to refine real-time fraud models
Troubleshoot and optimize integrations involving on-chain and off-chain data pipelines
Serve as the technical voice of the customer, feeding insights back into product development
What We're Looking For
5+ years of experience in solutions architecture, forward-deployed engineering, or technical consulting roles
Strong understanding of blockchain, crypto transaction flows, and decentralized finance (DeFi) ecosystems
Proven ability to design and deploy scalable, secure technical solutions in client-facing environments
Proficiency in API integrations, data pipelines, and cloud infrastructure
Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders
Comfort operating in fast-paced, ambiguous environments typical of growth-stage web3 products
Bonus Points
Experience with AI/ML models applied to fraud detection or behavioral analytics
Familiarity with smart contracts, wallet infrastructure, or crypto compliance tooling
Background working with financial institutions or fintech risk teams
Prior experience at a blockchain intelligence or crypto security company
