As Specialist, Media & Events Partnerships, you'll be at the intersection of storytelling and strategic commerce, helping connect premier crypto and blockchain brands with CoinDesk's influential media platforms and flagship events like Consensus. This role offers a rare opportunity to work alongside award-winning journalists and industry-leading event producers while driving tangible commercial impact across the global digital asset ecosystem.
What You'll Be Doing
Cultivate and manage strategic partnerships with blockchain, DeFi, and web3 organizations across media and live event channels
Collaborate cross-functionally with editorial, sales, and events teams to craft compelling sponsorship and partnership packages
Identify new revenue opportunities within the evolving crypto and distributed systems landscape
Support the execution of world-class events that convene global leaders in digital assets and smart contracts
Track partnership performance metrics and deliver actionable insights to stakeholders
Represent CoinDesk's brand with professionalism at industry conferences and networking events
What We're Looking For
Proven experience in partnerships, sponsorship sales, or business development—ideally within media, events, or crypto-adjacent industries
Strong understanding of blockchain technology, decentralized finance, and the broader web3 ecosystem
Excellent relationship-building and negotiation skills
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal
Highly organized with strong project management capabilities

Existing network within the crypto, blockchain, or fintech industry
Experience working with distributed ledger technology companies or smart contract platforms
