Backend Developer
What You'll Be Doing
Develop and maintain backend systems for crypto payments using Node.js/TypeScript
Maintain and continuously improve our existing services and processes
Implement new supplier and third-party integrations
Collaborate with cross-functional teams
What We're Looking For
5+ years of backend experience, mainly within our stack: Node.js/TypeScript and/or Python, plus MongoDB and Typesense
Experience with e-commerce platforms or similar
Ability to make technical decisions and mentor junior team members
Excellent English communication skills
Curiosity about how AI is changing programming, and enthusiasm for AI-augmented workflows rather than apprehension about them
Bonus Points
Experience with search technologies such as Elasticsearch, OpenSearch, Apache Lucene, or Solr; in this case, you'd also help design, build, and optimize internal search for our e-commerce platform and internal tools
