What You'll Be Doing
Deploy, upgrade, and operate OP Stack components.
Set up monitoring and alerting using Prometheus and Grafana, including PromQL dashboards and instrumentation of domain-specific metrics (economic, bridge, sequencing).
Participate in on-call rotation, lead incident response, and produce post-mortems and runbooks.
Collaborate with smart contracts, security, and product teams on launches, network upgrades, and hard fork activations.
Foster collaboration, knowledge sharing, and professional growth within the team.
Work with cross-functional teams to define project requirements and ensure alignment with business objectives.
Stay current on advancements in blockchain technology and Ethereum, applying new features and best practices to improve our solutions.
What We're Looking For
4+ years of professional software engineering experience, including 2+ years of hands-on work in the blockchain domain.
Strong production experience with Golang — writing and shipping services in Go, and comfort reading, debugging, and patching upstream Go codebases.
Extensive experience with Ethereum, including deep understanding of its protocol, smart contract development, and associated technologies.
Hands-on experience developing, deploying, and maintaining smart contracts on EVM chains using Solidity.
Understanding of Layer 2 and optimistic rollup fundamentals: block derivation from L1, batch submission, state proposals, withdrawal flow, and forced inclusion.
Understanding of OP Stack components and architecture.
Familiarity with Kubernetes for container orchestration and CI/CD tools for deployment automation.
Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Prometheus and Grafana for performance tracking.
Familiarity with cloud platforms (preferably AWS); experience with Docker containerization is a strong plus.
Bonus Points
Ability to read and patch Rust code.
Understanding of fault proofs: dispute games, bisection, FPVM, and ZK-based approaches.
Experience conducting and successfully passing smart contract security audits.
Experience developing blockchain nodes, bridges, indexers, or similar infrastructure.
