What You'll Be Doing
Ensure project milestones are delivered on time and in accordance with the bank's software delivery standards
Prepare roadmaps that align cross-team dependencies and stakeholders
Identify risks and implement remediation steps to keep the team on track
Lead technical discussions and influence design and strategy decisions
Bring industry best practices and knowledge on emerging topics such as cryptocurrency, blockchain, and distributed ledger technology
Contribute to proof-of-concepts, pilots, and controlled production releases
Coach and mentor team members to build a self-organizing, outcome-focused team
Communicate with stakeholders across business lines, preparing executive communications and project updates
Factor the bank's risk appetite and risk culture into day-to-day activities and decisions
What We're Looking For
At least 5 years of experience as an Engineering Lead or in a similar role
Hands-on experience delivering complex technology projects, including design, build, test, and implementation phases
Experience with API-driven, microservice architecture
Experience managing vendor-supported technology solutions
Ability to learn new and emerging technologies
Experience coaching and mentoring high-performing teams
Experience working with cross-functional stakeholders including technology, risk, compliance, and operations
Experience operating within structured SDLC and change management frameworks in regulated environments
Bonus Points
Exposure to digital assets, blockchain technologies, smart contracts, or tokenized payment concepts
Experience supporting initiatives subject to enhanced governance or regulatory oversight
