What You'll Be Doing
Own product development for Binance Square across key areas—live streaming, audio/video, and posts—covering full end-to-end development from frontend to backend.
Translate product requirements into working implementations, reducing friction between frontend and backend teams and enabling fast business iteration.
Contribute to the design and optimization of high-traffic features such as the feed, content publishing, interactions (likes, comments, reposts), and creator tools, ensuring these remain highly available and performant.
Incorporate mainstream AI coding tools (e.g., Cursor, Copilot, Claude Code) into your daily workflow to boost development efficiency, and help promote AI-enhanced practices across the team.
Identify inefficiencies in cross-team collaboration and propose improvements to product, design, and engineering processes.
Take part in the full product lifecycle—from ideation and design through deployment, data validation, and ongoing iteration.
What We're Looking For
A bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or a related AI field is preferred, along with 3–5 years of experience, ideally in a content community, social, live streaming, or audio/video context.
Proficiency in Java or Go, with experience building high-concurrency, high-traffic systems, and a solid grasp of multithreading, locking, and asynchronous programming.
Strong understanding of databases (MySQL), caching (Redis), and message queues (Kafka), with hands-on tuning experience; familiarity with feed, push, counter, or real-time messaging (WebSocket/IM) architectures is a plus.
Ability to work across the stack, including independently building and integrating full feature pages with React or Vue, understanding componentization and frontend state management, and attention to page performance and user experience.
Regular use of AI coding tools (Cursor, Copilot, Claude Code) as part of daily work, with the ability to clearly state requirements and constraints to AI tools and to review, validate, and fix AI-generated code.
Self-driven and comfortable working with unclear boundaries, able to turn vague ideas into clear specs and drive them to delivery, with strong logical thinking, communication, and product sense.
Bonus Points
Experience with live streaming and audio/video technologies (e.g., RTMP/HLS/WebRTC, CDN, transcoding, players).
Development experience with content moderation, recommendation systems, or creator ecosystems.
Cross-platform development experience (iOS/Android/Web/H5).
Open-source contributions or influential GitHub projects.
Familiarity with the Web3/cryptocurrency industry, or personal experience as a Binance Square user or creator.
