Senior Content Marketing Manager, Institutional
"What You'll Be Doing"
What You'll Be Doing
Serve as the institutional voice behind blockchain for regulated finance, telling the story of finance moving onchain through case studies, primers, one-pagers, and web experiences aimed at winning over the full buying committee at issuers, asset managers, banks, and payment providers—from heads of digital assets and CFOs to risk, compliance, legal, and operations teams. Each piece of content should map to a buyer, a funnel stage, and a specific solution such as issuance, movement, or capital deployment.
Reduce friction in the middle and bottom of the funnel by creating enablement content that moves institutions from evaluation to decision—turning active deals and signed partners into case studies, account-specific collateral, objection handling, and follow-up materials, ensuring every priority buyer, deal stage, and solution is covered.
Act as the keeper of the institutional narrative, partnering with Product Marketing, Social, Digital Strategy, and agency partners so a single idea is consistently carried across channels, including long-form pieces, newsletters, LinkedIn posts, web pages, and short video cuts.
Design and own full content motions, building recurring programs—such as briefings for institutional decision-makers or ABM content tracks—from concept through distribution and measurement.
Support executive thought leadership by producing assets that extend SDF leadership's visibility, including research and data for essays, charts and exhibits, and derivative content for newsletters, web, and social.
Fuel event-driven outreach by creating invitation copy, outbound sequences, pre-event briefs, and account-specific one-pagers for events like Meridian and institutional roundtables, along with follow-up materials to keep conversations moving.
What We're Looking For
7–10 years of experience in content marketing, editorial, or research writing, including at least 3 years writing for institutional or enterprise B2B buyers in financial services, fintech, payments, or digital assets.
A portfolio of institutional-grade work—white papers, case studies, and explainers suitable for an analyst or VP to use in a recommendation to a CFO or head of digital assets.
Working fluency in tokenization, stablecoins, custody, settlement, and cross-border payments, including the ability to explain concepts like an anchor, a trustline, or a clawback without jargon.
Experience partnering with BD, sales, or demand gen teams on ABM, nurture, and account growth strategies.
A research-driven approach to building credible, evidence-backed stories using analyst research, industry benchmarks, and customer results.
A habit of measuring content performance, tracking BD usage and target-account engagement to inform future content decisions.
A strategic approach to distribution, planning where each asset will run across paid, organic, owned, and partner channels before it's written, and collaborating with the Digital Strategy team on paid execution.
Range across formats, including long-form content, newsletters, web copy, social media, and briefs for designers and video producers.
Exceptional writing and editing skills, with prose that is declarative, specific, and proof-forward.
Sound judgment in distinguishing between what a technology enables and what a regulated institution is responsible for, reflected in your writing.
The ability to manage multiple projects involving various reviewers—product SMEs, legal, executives, and external partners—while maintaining quality and meeting deadlines.
Bonus Points
Experience writing for or working at a bank, asset manager, custodian, market infrastructure provider, or payments company.
Understanding of how institutions evaluate public blockchains, including multi-chain strategies.
Experience with AI-assisted content workflows, knowing where they are effective and where editorial judgment is still required.
Experience building content programs that appear in AI search answers, not just traditional search results.
