What You'll Be Doing
Own the multi-year strategy and roadmap for how customers add and use bank accounts, cards, and digital wallets, covering the entire funnel from the first screen through linking, verification, and failure recovery.
Drive intelligent routing of payment onboarding across multiple payment service providers and banks, selecting the path most likely to succeed and cheapest to run, so a single provider issue never turns into a customer-facing outage.
Shape the approach to confirming that a payment method belongs to the customer, working with Risk and Compliance to balance fraud loss against conversion.
Partner with Business Development and external bank and processor partners on commercial terms, integrations, and upcoming payment capabilities.
Lead end-to-end payment method cost and performance reporting, surfacing tradeoffs to senior leadership and building platform capabilities that other product teams can reuse rather than rebuild.
What We're Looking For
7+ years of product management experience with depth in payments, money movement, or financial platforms, and a track record of owning a payment or money movement funnel end to end at scale with measurable results.
Working knowledge of how card payments and bank transfers actually function, including declines, retries, verification, tokenization, and routing, with the ability to go deep with engineers on service architecture, APIs, and routing logic.
Strong analytical instincts, including the ability to design experiments and hold a measured line on tradeoffs when the easy answer and the right answer diverge.
Responsible use of generative AI, maintaining human oversight while delivering business-ready outputs and driving measurable improvements in workflow efficiency, cost, and quality.
