"What You'll Be Doing"
What You'll Be Doing
Own frontend development for Coinbase One experiences within the Coinbase retail application, including sign-up flows, subscription payment experiences, targeted benefits, and special promotions and incentives.
Build reusable frontend components and platform capabilities that help the team launch and maintain membership features.
Lead projects end-to-end, from technical design through implementation, testing, and launch, breaking complex work into milestones and communicating risks and tradeoffs.
Partner with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to translate customer needs into reliable, intuitive user experiences.
Improve frontend performance, reliability, and maintainability through automated testing, production debugging, and ongoing improvements informed by customer and product feedback.
Mentor engineers through code reviews, technical guidance, and documentation, helping the team consistently deliver high-quality software.
What We're Looking For
Experience designing, building, and shipping production frontend applications using JavaScript, TypeScript, and React.
Experience integrating GraphQL APIs and writing automated unit tests for customer-facing features.
A track record of independently delivering complex software projects, making technical tradeoffs, and maintaining software after launch.
Experience building reusable components and improving application performance, reliability, and code quality.
Ability to collaborate across engineering, product, and design, clearly communicate technical decisions, and mentor other engineers.
Ability to use generative AI responsibly, with human oversight, to deliver business-ready outputs and drive measurable improvements in workflow efficiency, cost, and quality.

Annual base salary range of $186,065–$218,900 USD (varies by location), with total compensation potentially also including equity, bonus eligibility, and benefits such as medical, dental, vision, and 401(k).
