About This Role
As a Senior Frontend Engineer at Circle, you'll craft the user-facing layer for products anchoring the world's largest regulated stablecoin network, USDC, alongside Circle Payments Network and Arc—our enterprise-grade blockchain built to become the Economic OS for the internet. What You'll Be Doing
Architect and ship performant, accessible web applications that interface with smart contracts and blockchain-based payment rails
Collaborate with design, product, and backend engineering teams to translate complex crypto and DeFi workflows into seamless user journeys
Build reusable component libraries and frontend infrastructure that scale across Circle's growing suite of web3 products
Optimize application performance and reliability for mission-critical financial tools used by enterprises globally
Champion frontend engineering best practices, including testing, code review, and continuous integration
Partner cross-functionally to integrate real-time blockchain data and transaction states into responsive UIs
What We're Looking For
5+ years of professional frontend engineering experience, with deep expertise in JavaScript/TypeScript, React, and modern web frameworks
Proven track record building production-grade applications at scale, ideally within fintech, crypto, or blockchain environments
Strong understanding of API integration patterns, state management, and asynchronous data handling
Experience collaborating closely with designers and backend engineers in fast-paced, iterative environments
Excellent communication skills and a product-minded approach to engineering decisions
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
Bonus Points
Direct experience integrating with blockchain networks, wallets, or smart contract interfaces
Familiarity with stablecoins, DeFi protocols, or distributed ledger technology
Contributions to open-source web3 tooling or developer libraries
Experience with design systems and component-driven architecture

Salary Range
$152,500 - $205,000
