About This Role
P2P.org commands over $10B in TVL and holds more than 20% market share in restaking, consistently outperforming market benchmarks—delivering 10% higher NRR on ETH and SOL, and 20% higher on DOT. As an SRE Engineer, you'll be the backbone ensuring our validator infrastructure across cutting-edge networks like TON, Avail, Monad, Babylon, Story, and Berachain remains secure, resilient, and optimized for peak performance in the fast-evolving web3 landscape.
What You'll Be Doing
Architect, automate, and maintain highly available infrastructure supporting node operations across diverse blockchain networks
Design monitoring and alerting systems that proactively catch issues before they impact validator performance or staking rewards
Collaborate with protocol engineers to optimize smart contracts deployment pipelines and reduce operational risk
Drive incident response processes, conducting post-mortems to continuously harden our distributed ledger infrastructure
Implement infrastructure-as-code practices to scale operations as we onboard new decentralized networks
Partner cross-functionally with security and DevOps teams to safeguard assets across our DeFi and staking ecosystem
What We're Looking For
3+ years of hands-on SRE or DevOps experience, ideally within crypto, fintech, or high-availability environments
Strong proficiency with Kubernetes, Terraform, and cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP)
Solid understanding of blockchain node operations, consensus mechanisms, or validator infrastructure
Scripting expertise in Python, Go, or Bash for automation and tooling
Experience with observability stacks (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK)
Excellent problem-solving skills and comfort operating in fast-paced, 24/7 critical systems
Bonus Points
Direct experience running validators or infrastructure for PoS networks
Familiarity with staking, restaking, or liquid staking protocols
Contributions to open-source blockchain or infrastructure projects
Security-focused mindset with knowledge of smart contract auditing basics
