As Tech Lead, you'll own the technical vision for critical systems—from high-throughput data pipelines to LLM-powered detection engines—shaping how the industry defends decentralized infrastructure. What You'll Be Doing
Set technical direction and own architecture for a core domain—whether that's ingestion pipelines, detection platforms, incident response, or LLM-driven systems
Design real-time, high-throughput pipelines that ingest, normalize, and enrich multi-chain activity at scale
Advance our detection engine ecosystem, spanning monitoring DSLs, anomaly detection models, machine learning, and threat intelligence feeds
Establish standards for system reliability and observability, driving continuous improvement through incident retrospectives and performance optimization
Mentor engineers, lead design reviews, and elevate engineering quality across the team
Remove delivery blockers while maintaining hands-on ownership of production health
What We're Looking For
Staff-level backend engineering experience with a proven record of leading architectural decisions in production environments
Deep expertise in distributed systems—reliability, latency management, concurrency, backpressure, and idempotency
Strong command of API design and data modeling across relational and event-driven paradigms
Ability to influence through clear communication, sound judgment, and pragmatic decision-making
A high-ownership mindset with end-to-end execution capability in live, mission-critical systems
Bonus Points
Hands-on blockchain or web3 experience, or strong enthusiasm for the space
Background in real-time/streaming data architectures
Experience in security, fraud detection, risk management, or other adversarial domains
History of building platform tools leveraged by fellow engineers
