Technical Support Engineer, APAC
About This Role
Join a newly established APAC Support team at the forefront of DeFi, Web3, and distributed ledger innovation. This isn't generic helpdesk work—you'll be troubleshooting complex technical challenges tied to smart contracts, blockchain infrastructure, and institutional-grade crypto operations, working shoulder-to-shoulder with Engineering, DevOps, and Site Reliability teams as Fireblocks scales globally.
What You'll Be Doing
Taking full ownership of technical issues from first contact through resolution, leveraging every tool and resource available
Delivering real-time, white-glove support via Slack and remote sessions during APAC business hours
Providing top-tier technical assistance for our enterprise SaaS platform supporting digital asset and decentralized finance operations
Escalating complex or high-severity issues to Senior Support with clear, actionable context
Jumping into war-room collaboration during outages alongside senior engineers to restore service fast
Maintaining meticulous documentation and case management as the first line of defense for our global client base
What We're Looking For
1-3 years of experience in a Technical Support Engineer role or similar customer-facing technical position
Comfort operating under pressure with sharp prioritization and time-management instincts
Flexibility to work non-standard hours, including occasional weekend shifts (no overnight shifts required)
Hands-on experience with API implementation, integration, and debugging
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
Strong analytical mindset with a knack for methodical troubleshooting
Bonus Points
Degree in Computer Science or a related technical field
Background supporting SaaS platforms, fintech products, or financial services technology
Familiarity with Kibana, Grafana, OpenSearch, LogStash, databases, or scripting languages (Python, Perl, Bash, JavaScript)
Working knowledge of cryptographic principles underpinning public blockchain networks—elliptic curve cryptography, hashing, symmetric/public key systems
